Organizations) their offer for handling and smooth operating of water testing laboratories in each districts of Jharkhand excluding Sahibganj and Jamshedpur with full technical details in technical bid. Laboratory building, glassware’s, chemicals, equipment and all related other hardware items will be provided by department. Only those are eligible who have prior experience of water testing in Laboratory.

National Conference on Cost Effective Sustainable Sanitation: An Indian Experience
[Date: 28 - 30 June, 2010]
The recently concluded National conference on Sanitation brought together over 250 delegates, speakers and other participants from a wide range of disciplines from difference parts of the country, including state TSC coordinators. Ministry of Rural Development, Plan India, UNICEF, Water Aid, WES-Net India, SPHERE India and Water for People (WFP) partnered with WASH Institute and successful completed the conference. The participants were a blend of Water & Sanitation professionals, academicians, researchers, government officials and, interestingly, many retired professionals and laypersons. Though practitioners and researchers represented the majority, the blend clearly reflected the growing interest in sanitation amongst people of all walks of life and an increase in the strength and momentum of the sanitation movement in India.

SACOSAN III- Delhi Declaration

South Asia Ministerial Conference on Sanitation (SACOSAN III) has ended successfully. Over 1200 participants from South Asia region were participated in the conference and 60 technical papers were presented in 10 thematic sessions.
